Love/Hate Spurs, Rice move back on? Hazard back to Chelsea? Lukaku priority, No Haaland to SW6?
All covered in our latest Chelsea FC newsletter
Well, ladies and gents, we did it, we made top four and qualified for Champions League football next season, that’s the bottom line.
OK, so Chelsea made us all support Tottenham and celebrate them scoring goals, but we made top four…
NEVER, do I EVER want to celebrate a Spurs goal again…. Damn you Chelsea.
We were super lucky, but the rewards that the Champions League brings are massive, and it means so much financially and for our summer transfer targets, and boy do we need one or two of them…. Check out my reflections on the game here.
If we didn’t make top four, these next few articles would probably not exist, because we could have kissed goodbye to some of our top summer targets.
So I’m pleased I can still bring you the latest reports on these. We’ll begin with the bad news…
Chelsea have reportedly lost hope in signing Erling Haaland this summer; you can read all about that here, as well as grab the latest on where Chelsea go for their new striker now.
Romelu Lukaku perhaps? Well, maybe, and our guy Dan McCarthy has the latest on that pursuit here.
Now for some good news, well at least that is if you are a fan of Declan Rice like we are here at S&DTC!
You guys will already be well aware of this if you’ve been reading our articles and listening to our Podcasts, but Chelsea still want to sign Declan Rice from West Ham, we can reveal further inside information on this pursuit here.
How about some Eden Hazard news? We all love this guy right? And it’s painful to watch his demise at Real Madrid. Time to bring him home?
Well, you’d have seen the hysteria and rumours on this on Monday, so we’ve delivered our inside information on that here.
A good chunk of info to keep you guys going there.
Now, onto Saturday and the MASSIVE game. I can’t quite believe we are in another Champions League final, only the third in our history.
But it’s time to put Sunday to bed and focus some positive energy on driving the lads on for Saturday. We are underdogs, and I have no expectations for us to win this, which usually means we will win…
We weren’t expected to beat Manchester City in our last two fixtures, but we won both. For some reason, Chelsea play better when they are not expected to win, so without getting too confident, I am not defeated to our demise either!
Hopefully the next time we speak we will be the Champions of Europe!!
COME ON CHELSEA!!!
Si and Dan
Thanks for the msg surely will be ready on Saturday
