The questions I am asking myself: What would sacking the manager now accomplish? Would the team play better? They might if they felt they were being mismanaged. And there is historical support for this. But they pretty much universally seem to like the guy. (I know, not exactly the same thing, but definitely not like the end of some other managerial terms) Would a new strategy move us up the table? Again maybe, but with so few games left, the new strategy it would need to work from day one and work through all the remaining games. So who is stepping in with that plan? Right now I don’t see vacating the manager position as a good move. Not that I am supporting his continuing into next season. And lastly, the 9th place team, almost all preferred players injured or ill, play the number one team, in a tight race for the title, away. What did we think was going to happen?

Random thoughts: It seems it's always the managers fault. I agree Poch has some failings but not to the extent that its is made out to be. We fans have known for a long time the new owners have no idea what they are doing. Poch has been begging to get some PL experienced players and a striker, to no avail. He has to use Jackson who isn't PL quality considering he had only one year of actual upper league experience. Then injuries have been terrible. Besides yesterday's defensive lineup was horrific. Madueke thinks he's better than he really is besides being very immature. Sacking Poch will not make us play any better considering what we have to work with. We spent over 100 mil on Caicedo as our savior DM and he's a flop. He's not a midfielder that's for sure. Where in the hell are our celebrated academy players anyway? Can you tell I'm frustrated not so much at our team as I am with the owners who have no idea how to build a team except doll out the money and keep all new players under 25 years of age.
