Sources: Victor Osimhen's stance on joining Chelsea, Sources: Reece James' future in doubt or not? The Debrief: Chelsea 4 Man City 4, Rob Pratley is back! Full news roundups, Much more...
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 13th November 2023!
Morning all,
Monday morning is back and so is another international break! But before I moan about that again, let’s take in a great Chelsea performance against the Champions Manchester City last night even though we didn’t get the win. It was a draw that felt like a win though because there was so many positives and we fully matched up and went toe-to-toe with one of the best teams in the world, and actually deserved to win.
You can get my full thoughts on the game as well as my player ratings and individual breakdowns, in my match debrief article here.
To see Mauricio Pochettino’s reaction on the game, as well as other quotes and all the rest of the latest Chelsea news from Sunday in one place, head here next to the general Sunday news report.
Before we get into the two BIG sourced articles of the weekend, a certain Mr Pratley is back on the site! Rob has done a lot of work for us over the years and some of his best work has been the satire comedy articles he has written. Rob is very witty and dry, so I always enjoy these types of articles from him. His first article back with us can be found here, and it’s as funny as ever!
Right, let’s get on to my bread and butter now - transfer updates.
Reece James has been once again linked with a move away from Chelsea this summer, and it’s a rumour that often keeps popping up every few months. Real Madrid and Manchester City are both really keen on signing him, but what is James’ stance on his future? And what is Chelsea’s stance on it? Find all of that out and more in here.
And the last article of this newsletter is regarding a man that I know many of you would love Chelsea to sign - Napoli striker Victor Osimhen. His future is very up in the air, and Chelsea are certainly interested, but what is his stance on joining Chelsea should the opportunity arise? You can find that out, and get all the latest on Chelsea’s striker pursuit and Ivan Toney in here.
Right, I’ll jump on the live blog from around 8am this morning, and I’ll see you all there (hopefully). I’m sure you’ve all got plenty of say about the City game, naturally.
Peace, Si.
