Sources: Victor Osimhen stance on joining Chelsea

The Napoli man has always been seen a dream target for Chelsea

Former Blue John Obi Mikel has recently compared Napoli striker a Victor Osimhen with Chelsea legend Didier Drogba.

Mikel has also called for Osimhen to join Chelsea.

On Osimhen, he says: "He's got the arrogance, he's got the personality, you can feel someone has walked into the dressing room and that's what Didier [Drogba] had. With Victor, I will say definitely he's come close to Didier. My advice for him is to come to Chelsea.”

But what is the latest on his future?

Napoli and Osimhen have been in talks for a new contract for months and as of today, have still not found an agreement. Sources aren’t ruling out an agreement being found still, but the belief is that the striker is most likely going to be departing the club in 2024 and moving on to his next challenge.

The only two clubs I know of that have serious interest as of now is Chelsea and Real Madrid. I am sure there are others as well, but I’ve not yet been told of them.
