The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Tuesday 30th April 2024!
Morning all,
Welcome to Tuesday’s Chelsea FC Newsletter, hope you’re all having a good week so far.
First and foremost, go ahead and roundup all of your latest Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours from a variety of sources and outlets in one place here!
More reactions from the Aston Villa draw on Saturday night next, and thankfully we had Seun jump back on to give his analysis in his deep tactical review of the game here. Really interesting to see how the tactical tweaks worked so well in this game, despite not managing to get the win in the end.
Gary Neville doesn’t often talk sense and in fact, especially where Chelsea are concerned, it’s often waffle! However, in his latest comments about Chelsea, the man has actually spoken sense. So I wanted to draw in on those comments in here and back them up. I think he’s spot on and it’s what the majority of us have all been saying too.
Two MORE sourced articles to round things up for today’s newsletter now. One of them would have dropped in your emails yesterday with names of a Manchester City attacker, and a PSG attacker, that Chelsea have discussed as potential targets for this summer 👀 Peep that here if you’ve not seen it yet.
The other one is a transfer updates article on new strikers. Plenty of names to update on in here, and also some key bits of info as the plans for the summer window heat up now!
Have a good day and I’ll see you all on the live blog from around 8.30am this morning!
Peace, Si.
This is actually a great idea. He can regain his Villa swagger, playing within a system that allows him more freedom to express himself in wide areas. He'll also help Mudryk learn the game a bit more, which should be extremely high on the directors' priority list. The two wingers are very similar in profile and had similar experiences in their careers shouldering creative burdens for their boyhood clubs, so having a guy like Grealish around will only help Misha who's still early in his football education, moreso than a Sterling could, who has more or less been out for himself since joining. Also, can't see the fee being astronomic at all.
Jack also has a strong history of just being an overall good person, we need those types of characters into the team. I'm not saying Grealish can replicate his Villa form, but it's not outside of the realm of possibilities. Very excited about this prospect, but the success is highly contingent on Grealish buying in. The optimist in me says, it will.
