The season has been much better than I expected it to be. We have a great chance to finish top four (or five) with most teams being inconsistent. A really good balanced article.

Good read, well written and well balanced. Let's hope it speaks to the over reactors. We have to remember that 'yes' we want Chelsea to win EVERYTHING, but also have to be realistic and look how we are actually overachieving this season. Imagine if we were City supporters who took it for granted they really would be winning everything still. I'd rather have Maresca than Guardiola at the moment. don't forget he is still learning as well. Our potential is astronomical.

Do you agree that Lavia has been a big miss of late, Mr Score? I’d say his absence and the recent profligacy of Jackson are key to the mini-dip. Agree that overall things moving in the right direction. Looking forward to the rest of the season.

100% spot on The Score. It’s hard to read when “so-called” Chelsea supporters criticise the team to such a great extent on various forms of social media. I know we should all ignore it but these comments do not take into account any of those you highlight in your article. You rightly say the last two games have not been good But in reality we could’ve won them both! In fact, if it wasn’t for the Fulham result, I think the Everton draw would be seen as positive based upon our record against them and their recent performances. Thanks once again for being the voice of reason I hope everybody listens to your comments

Not a lot to argue about there… re the Fulham game the bench had 3 or 4 academy players so the options to change the game may not have been there, he did bring on Nkunku who was largely invisible but it seemed to me that some of the more inexperienced players may have been unprofessional in their Xmas day celebrations and let’s hope they learn from that.
