Fantastic write up, Dylan!

I'm intrigued - if Giui was going to Dortmund this summer, he'd be playing loads, he'd get plenty of minutes in big games, and his develop would soar. But at Chelsea next season......? 🤷‍♂️

Thanks Alex. I think you are completely right and I have a similar feeling about it as you. However its nice to get him before Dortmund because we would be paying like 4x the amount in 2 years.

...and the reason we'd be paying 4x the amount is because of his development gained from 1st team experience 🤷‍♂️

Let's give him a go!

I think we have the matches available for him to get a run in the squad. At the very least with him, I think we could turn a profit in two seasons with very little work.

Reminds me of Giroud a bit. Similar profile with the link up play, heading, poaching, not speedy, etc.

Yea thats a fair thought. One thing that I would say is that his acceleration is really impressive. He isn't as great with the link up play as Giroud but he could get there.

Thanks once again, Dylan for another fantastic insight. Like you I think this is opportunistic and it’s great to see that we had our finger on the pulse rather than him ending up at somewhere like Brighton. This has to be a win-win situation for us.

At worst he plays a little shows his worth and is sold on for a profit.

The upside is the end ends up being the prolific number nine that we’ve been missing for so many years. That would be amazing if somewhat unlikely at this stage. Looking forward to seeing him in action in a blue shirt

Thanks Dylan - I'm very positive about this lad, just hope that him and Jackson can gel together and play of each other to improve. Even with my limited knowledge he could be one of the last pieces of the jigsaw. Its not next seaason its the one after that I'm looking forward to, with Paez, Estevao and the others after a year here.
