Armando Broja: Should we sell, loan or keep? My thoughts......
Here is my opinion on todays biggest news
Good Evening ladies and gents,
A bit of a late article today, but it has worked out well to hear all different journalists weigh in on todays Broja ‘news’.
Firstly, I love Broja and have vouched for him countless times before, he has a really high ceiling in my view and one that is as high if not higher than Jackson, in my opinion.
Every player has there price and as I have said recently around Conor Gallagher that anything 50m+ package would be good, I believe the same price for Broja and he should go, the media are reporting similar figures this evening.
I do think there was a lot of over reaction after this news was released, the quote said “Chelsea are willing to sell Broja” to me I read that as we are willing as long as conditions are met. That means either a club match the value above and he can go or we want to send him on loan so he can start 15/20 games in the 2nd half of the season.
Either way there is not a possible chance Chelsea let him go without having somebody lined up already or something is in the pipeline.
Does Armando Broja have a long term future at the club?
IF it is true and Poch would rather sell Broja than Gallagher, I don’t blame him, I also believe he would rather not sell either, BUT as was the nice feeling of yesterday, we need to keep complying with FFP.
Armando needs a run of games, that is a fact, he is still coming back from a horrible, long term injury and needs minutes and momentum to get his old self back. The perfect situation is to loan him out as long as we have some form of replacement that is suitable for the rest of the season if not longer.
What are your opinions on this transfer story?
Thanks for reading

His ceiling may be higher than Jackson for all I know but at the moment his level is nowhere near Jackson. In the end players have to be sold and bought that's professional football. Its no different to Tammy's case and in fact Tammy had done more for the first team than Broja by some distance.
It could come down to scenario where fans have to ask themselves whether they want to keep an academy graduate (we all know the names) or for the club to be potentially deducted 10 points, for example.
It seems extreme but then ask why have only 2 players been bought by Premier League clubs so far in the January window. Because clubs are crapping it about the ramifications of FFP
