My gosh, how can people still even consider him after the crap he pulled. He's all about the money and "me". Nothing else from him. Most of us are exhausted with all the hype over that guy. If we would have expended all the money and time on someone else we might now have a legitimate #9.
Ozzie in Jan if they can make it work. This was complicated with Napoli and the agent. Id still like 2 strikers, SESKO as well, show some intent for the 1st team, get a CB next then a dam GK the best you can. Or just settle for 6 place..... no cups another could be year
I'll be unpopular here but I sympathise with Osihmen here. He trusted Napoli and his agent to get him a move.
He subsequently sacked his agent and took control of his situation after the majority of Europe was closed for business, which I admire. Through that, he's staying on his same salary (good luck to anyone who's willing to move jobs or move house for less than their current worth!), he's secured a better release clause (€75m), he's negotiated a break clause to leave in January, and in the meantime he'll play in the Europa League.
My gut feeling as soon as the window closed that we would revisit this again with him in January, if he was still accessible. He's made it even more possible now. Go and get it done!
For me it comes down to two points: 1) how much is down to him and how much down to being ill advised by his agent (e.g. he wanted Chelsea but his agent told him Chelsea will budge..at which point I have 0 grudge...who would take a paycut if they were being advised they didn't need too). To prove it was more his agent I would expect a swift agent change.
2) he wants Chelsea. Go back in with no change in offer and I would expect a swift acceptance and no entertaining other clubs.
My biggest hesitation with Osimhen is that no clubs were seriously interested in him.
Yes he’s entitled to getting paid however much he wants, but in the end of the day no other clubs felt like he was worth the expenditure. That speaks volumes.

All along my position is that we don't Victor. My reason is that he is going to be another lukaku. I don't know who to go for. Oh ,maybe Isak.

KTBFFH
Nkunku can play as a 9 and do superb for us
We just need to get our midfield and defence balance right
This board should just stop signing for now and allow the team to settle and grow.
Most of the players we have are world class but yet settled
We shouldn’t forget Cucurela was nearly sold but he’s now our best LB.
Players need time , coach needs time
The transfer dopamine must ceased for now
Liverpool is winning with Jota as a 9
Don’t they face low blocks?
Liverpool won the title with Firmino as a 9
Didn’t they face low blocks?
We shouldn’t make that champions league mistake again signing a striker because we think we need some kind of striker to help us beat low blocks
Tuchel’s team was ok till we signed Lukaku and everything started to scatter
No.
Duran - who we should have signed, Calvert-Lewin or Ferguson.
Jackson will continue to prove his doubters wrong in the meantime
Put an offer on the table now for January if accepts sign him, any faffing around forget it.
Not to bothered that we missed out….. injury prone, big ego (it appears) trust Jackson

I was not 100% sold on him before this shenanigans - too much money, quite injury prone, poor attitude. Definitely not now - would not go near him!
Absolutely not... Where is the desire or respect. Just money orientated

Either of these not in place then move on
No no and no. Another Lukaku on the front. Thank you, but no thank you.

Completely agree, Luke: HARD pass from me! No idea who we go for though - esp in Jan? Maybe try and set something up for Sesko again, next Summer?
Gyokeres or Sesko for me
Those are definitely the standout ones
