Toney's non penalty stats aren't very impressive to be honest. And he's been out of form since his ban. Would prefer us not to go for a player with clear personal problems that he has not necessarily dealt with. It's probably why no one has bought him yet.
There will obviously be a skepticism around him, its not just about numbers for me, the reason we need a striker is obviously goals but also to link the attack together to be able to hold the ball up and give us a focal point, if Toney was to score 15 ish in all comps but link our attack and get a decent amount of assists that would be a good impact in my view.
Definitely Toney if the price is right .

He is exactly the player we need upfront.
Strong, quick, good in the air, set piece Specialist, holds the ball up.
Getable for a decent fee.
Ideal for what we need.
Teams will defend deep against us at the Bridge.
With him as our battering ram , we would be able to cut through them.
Giroud was excellent for us, in a similar role.
