We can only dream it’s possible. If he can get alternative financial support (which I am sure he is doing) then the dream could be reality. Clearlake cannot like all the criticism

I can only see one winner here and it’s not Boehly. He’s just bought a big stake in the Trent Rockets cricket franchise so he’s either expanding his portfolio of sports or he has realised he can’t beat Clearlake. The last transfer window told us exactly how Clearlake are going to carry on.

The big, big problem is.

How does Boehly persuade Clearlake to sell their stake.

Behdad for all his many faults, supposedly loves the club!

Pity is, his vision of how to run the club is awful Along with his ludicrous idea of redeveloping the Bridge, instead of moving to Earls Court.

So what will it take for the 68% Clearlake lot to agree to sell up.

I think there's a few egos involved here, more so than the money at stake.

The longer it goes on, the longer we are in limbo.

Would love Boehly to take full control. Can't see it happening though personally with Clearlake having a track record of letting their pride and ego get the better of them. Boehly, if he does want to take full control and remove Clearlake has a very good opportunity right now where the fans, social & mainstream media are all aware and voicing their opinion on Clearlake. Surely, if it were to happen it would be sooner rather than later.

Lampard as Director would be incredible. His talent ID is insane.

As much as I love Lamps, I’d prefer to see him as a General Manager, and appoint an established DOF - who’s been there and done it at the highest level. You want the equivalent of a Michael Edwards type character, who has the know-how of operating at a major CL standard football club. It’s all moot though - because as The Score has already stated, Frank clearly wants to build a career in management.

Very fair - and hope Lamps makes it. But would love him in some sort of board role. Maybe not Director but GM would work!
