The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 6th November 2023!
Morning all,
I hope you had a good weekend and enjoyed any fire work displays you might have gone to. We had a drone show in my town and although we had other plans and couldn’t make it, we saw a bit of it and it was really cool. We will go next year and I recommend it to anyone.
There was of course no Chelsea to ruin our weekends this weekend with our fixture on tonight. But there was some news that came out that was upsetting to hear. Our well-respected women’s manager Emma Hayes is leaving her role at the end of the season in news announced on Saturday.
I have the full report on that as well as my tribute to Emma and what happens next for her in here to kick things off today.
Now unless you have been living in a cave this weekend, you will be fully aware that Mauricio Pochettino has been fully stitched up be the media who basically gave him a press conference purely on Tottenham questions. His answers caused a reaction on social media, so I have offered my two pence worth on that situation and much more in here.
And the actual important bit now, the game against Tottenham and trying to win it, which Pochettino will absolutely be doing, is tonight! Thank god we don’t have to hear any words from Poch on Spurs once this game has passed! I have my full match preview, score predictions, lineup prediction, lineup preference, and a chance for you to pick YOUR lineup for the game in a jam-packed preview here.
I mentioned Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen in the title, and the pair remain the transfer talk around Chelsea right now. What is the latest on them both, as well as another striker name? Find out in here.
Rounding up all your latest Chelsea news in one place now with yesterday’s news report here. You will find more match build up, quotes, predictions, and any transfer rumours floating about in this one.
OK, the nerves are really kicking in now I can’t lie. It’s a HUGE game tonight, so do please join me on the live blog this morning from 8am so we can go through the motions together and build up to the game tonight! I’ll have this running right up until kick off, and I’ll start a match day thread on the Substack App for you all to chat and debate in-game, if that’s what you enjoy doing. I’ll be on the site after the game with my full thoughts and player ratings in my Match Debrief article! I’d give anything to be debriefing a Chelsea win!!
Let’s go Chelsea!! COME ON!!! WE CAN DO THIS!!!! UTC!!!
Peace, Si.
