The Chelsea FC Newsletter: 21st December 2023!
Morning all,
Still buzzing off Tuesday night and the feeling that we all experienced at full time. It’s a feeling and an atmosphere we have grown used to not feeling or seeing for quite some time now as Chelsea fans, and we all thoroughly deserved to feel it once again this week! Let’s hope it continues, and let’s hope that this is once and for all the turning point we need to get this project moving in the right direction.
Next up, Chelsea will be acting as Santa Claus and will either be putting presents under our Tree’s on Christmas Eve, or turning full Grinch and stealing all of our presents instead! The Blues travel to Wolverhampton on Sunday, which also happens to be Christmas Eve!
I had a big sourced article out yesterday with some transfer updates on strikers. As we are now just days off the January window opening, what is the latest on Chelsea’s plans to sign a new striker? Find out about Victor Osimhen, Ivan Toney, and Viktor Gyokeres in here.
After speaking with some of the community here, we thought it would be a good idea to mirror the Chelsea fan survey carried out by The Athletic last week, simply to see how our answers differ to their answers, if at all. There’s also some very good questions to answer in this here, so please do take part and send your message the the board!
Luke has given his thoughts on our League Cup quarter final win against Newcastle in here, and he has also looked ahead to the Wolves game. Great article this.
After being unavailable last week, we had Will Reyner join us again for his latest weekly column. I’m sure you’ll agree, this is a fantastic piece here on the pros and cons of Mauricio Pochettino so far during his Chelsea tenure. I think many will agree with the points in this one.
As ever, gather all your latest Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in one place in yesterday’s live blog here. More reactions from the game as well as all the latest transfer rumours (Chelsea are about to make a new signing) in this!
Podcast day today, and we have a guest! It’s our last show before Christmas so we wanted to bring in a top lad and a passionate Chelsea fan to sit and chat Chels with myself and Jai. We welcome popular Chelsea fan who is famous for his short videos on X, simply known as Redders to the Podcast today!
We will be reviewing the Newcastle game, looking ahead to Wolves, and also honing in on Redders thoughts on the current situation and the owners. As you might know, he has been very passionate offering his views on all things Chelsea lately, so we are expecting a lively one!
Live blog will be up around 8am as always today, I’ll see you there
Peace, Si.
