The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Wednesday 6th December 2023!
Morning all!
It’s a December midweek Premier League matchday for Chelsea today!
We have really hit the key part of the season now and these points have become so important to dictate the rest of our season and what direction we are heading in.
It’s a huge game at Old Trafford this evening, and Chelsea are facing a wounded opposition who cane certainly be described as being there for the taking.
You can get all my thoughts, the fact, stats, lineup prediction, team news, score prediction, and much more in my bumper preview article here.
Now I’ve made the above article a two in one because I initially had two lineups for this game - one was what I thought Pochettino would go for, and the other was what I wanted to see. But now, with the injury to Lesley Ugochukwu being confirmed, I think Pochettino’s hand has been forced to use the formation that I want to see. So I’ve now just linked that article in with thee one above as an even more bumper preview!
What is Mauricio Pochettino thinking about it and what is the confirmed team and injury news for the game I hear you ask? Well, you can get all that and so much more in yesterday’s live blog article that covers all your Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours in one place here.
Luke Rushbrook is up next for his latest daily article for us. Luke’s remit is the the players out on loan and he has a timely update on our loan army for us all today. You can check that out in full here.
And finally for this newsletter, if you missed it yesterday you might want to check out my very latest sourced article on Victor Osimhen and Ivan Toney as we really do get closer to January now. Is something happening behind the scenes? I think so. What are the hierarchy thinking? Do they want a new striker? All that and more in here.
Right, I’ll be on the live blog all day today building up to the game, so do join me there from 8am. I will also setup the usual match discussion thread on the Substack App just before kick off tonight. And any news I get today on the team or injuries then I’ll post up on the live blog. Be there!
COME ON CHELSEA!!!!
Peace, Si.
