Good Evening, Ladies and Gents,
Welcome back to the 23/24 season loan army report. This is a summary of what our loan players have been up to over the last week or so.
Lets get into it……
Gaga Slonina:
A 1-1 draw for Gaga’s side this week, in what was a quiet game for Gaga, he had limited touches and only 2 saves to make. That’s a first for this season!
Bashir Humphreys:
2 more games for Bash since last week, he played the full 90 against Leeds (A) in the 3-1 defeat, he was then subbed at half time along with 2 other teammates.
Swansea have been in awful form of late and their manager has now been sacked. It will be interesting to see who comes in there and if Bash can keep his place under new management.
Zak Sturge:
Zak was an unused sub in the FA Cup win v Doncaster at the weekend.
Andrey Santos:
Not selected in the squad…….again, January 1st cannot come soon enough for Andrey.
Cesare Casadei:
Cesare started last midweek’s 1-1 draw away to Sheffield Wednesday, playing 60 minutes for a rotated Leicester. He came off the bench for the final 4 minutes in Leicester’s 2-1 win away to West Brom on Saturday.
Tino Anjorin:
Still out Injured, due to return, Jan/Feb. Will be staying at Portsmouth for the duration of the season unless anything changes.
Omari Hutchinson:
Since Omari’s brief omission from the squad due to injury he has returned in the last week to make 2 substitute appearances of 23 & 26 minutes. 2 solid cameo’s where he has looked lively.
His biggest competition is Wes Burns who is in incredible form and nothing shows that like this outrageous goal he scored at the weekend.

Harvey Vale:
Harvey played the full 90 in last midweeks 1-1 draw with Leyton Orient, he had a really good game and is back playing further up the field on the left wing currently.
Bristol Rovers didn’t have a fixture this weekend.
Charlie Webster:
Charlie made a 13 minute cameo for Heerenveen in a 3-0 win at the weekend.
Diego Moreira:
Diego started and played 62 minutes for Lyon in another loss for them. It was a poor performance for Diego, he seems out of his depth at Lyon and a loan we need to be reviewing in January.
Mason Burstow:
A start for Mason away at Millwall, in a 1-1 draw, he played 55 minutes. Like Bashir his manager has been sacked since the weekend and hopefully this will help Mason to cement a place in the side and impress whoever the incoming manager may be.
David Datro Fofana:
Datro played 29 minutes in last weeks Champions League draw with Braga, a solid cameo for a player that has been performing pretty well in recent weeks.
Angelo Gabriel:
A really solid 29 minute cameo from Angelo at the weekend, playing 29 minutes.
In that time he completed 19/22 passes, had 30 touches, completed 3/4 dribbles and won 4/5 ground duels. Strasbourg unfortunately lost the match.
Dion Rankine:
Dion had his first start since returning from injury in Exeter’s 0-0 draw with Shrewsbury last midweek, he played 66 minutes and is just gradually integrating back into the fold after a lengthy lay-off.
Thanks for reading.

Always interesting.
