Simon: I just saw the Mudryk piece you posted elsewhere. You really got to me. He was rated low because of his positioning. A left wing is a left wing not a roamer. Who actually played left wing? Oh that’s right it was Cucerella. And why? Because Mudryk (who was listed as the wing) was all over the place. Someone has to tell Poch to instruct Mudryk to glue himself to the line (like a Grealish or GOD help me Madueke). That’s another reason Cucerella had to run his ass off to actually play his wing position. That was so plain to see since the left side was so useless on offense and left us vulnerable on defense. Positioning seems to be a problem with Poch.

My concern with Sessko, as you have suggested and I'm sure others have said, is he is young and PL unproven which has caused us no end of problems before, especially coming from Bundesligue to here. As someone else says down below I like the idea, if we are being linked with Amorim, of Gyokeres coming with him.
Had a feeling we’d sign Sesko at some point. Remember when he made the move to Leipzig from Salzburg but his agent was picture with Boehly at the Bridge. Always felt we had something set up there.
Seems like a really top prospect, just worried about how raw he is. Jackson has definitely got a lot more used to the league so can hope as a combination they can see us through.
yep Toney is a decent shout too.... but something seems off with that guy. If they sell him for 30-40m then yeah maybe go for him. He is not the quickest though. Solanke has similar attributes and has more pace.
Basically if we go for Sesko then we need an experienced striker in there too. Can have another 20ish yr old leading the line.
Sesko (with Callum Wilson as experience rotation) would be great. Jackson shifted to left wing, loan out Ukraine Bolt to a German team where he might preserve a fraction of his absurd value.

With the rumored move of Osihmen to PSG, we can try for either Muani or Goncalo Ramos. Agree that our relationship with PSG is not exactly amicable but it’s just business.

Sesko is so good. But yet again he can't be our main striker. He's not ready to lead the line on his own. At Leipzig he has Openda to show him the ropes. Hopefully he's not our only signing at striker. Osimhen/Gyokeres and Sesko. Not Sesko alone.

We spent £40m to get worse. Mendy is levels above Sanchez and Petrovic.
