Totally agree Luke.

Poch has been a disappointment and I will shed no tears if he leaves in the summer.

But my main ire is directed towards the arrogant owners and so-called sporting directors.

I have just looked at the team selection vs Everton and my thoughts are - Jesus we have spent a £1 billion and that is the best we can do. To describe that team as average is being generous to a fault.

And before people start carping on about injuries, let me say this - if you buy injury-prone players that excuse just doesn't wash.

So for a £1 billion we have a rotational GK who is actually not great but better than our no 1.

We have back 4 leaking 2 goals a game

We still have no DM

Our forward line is Madueke, Jackson and Mudryk - no elite striker there, no elite winger either.

And £1 billion spent - it beggars belief.

To get back to the point of the article say we had bought Martinez (GK) Trossard, Onana and Ward-Prowse instead of the likes of Mudryk, Lavia, and Sanchez we would be a hell of a lot better off.

So yes, no props for Poch, but the bigger problem is the owners and the SDs which is what I think I take from the article.

Johathan: I agree with most of what you said. Poch isn't much of a tactician for sure and hiring that set piece guy for next season says it all. We spent +100 mil on a DM who now plays opposite Enzo, starts Sterling who is a "me" player who can't stay on the wing, and a very leaky defense. We need to evaluate injury history b4 buying players, start using accomplished. academy players and get some mature players. I thought Silva was but I was wrong. Mudryk is a jewel in the making. Give him film to study of Grealish and Silva and how they hug the line then attack and he'll do wonderful. I really feel Jackson is a hot head and gets off his game a lot. Madueke shows flashes but is very immature. Very talented and a go getter but very immature. The Everton penalty kick fiasco is a great example of immaturity. If Sterling was in he would also have been trying to take the penalty. To me the team is always first and "me" comes later. Take care
