The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Wednesday 21st February 2024!
Morning all,
We have reached Wednesday and one day closer to the League Cup final on Sunday! Nerves are kicking in, and so is excitement and the fear of the unknown!
We genuinely have a good chance, especially with news of all the injured Liverpool players coming out (you can’t have missed it, Sky Sports dedicated a whole day’s coverage to it on Monday 😂). Chelsea also have mass injuries, but you wont hear about that in the news!
I am starting to build up to the big game on Sunday with my first sort of preview article on it here. This is based around Mauricio Pochettino already having the blueprint to face Liverpool and being better equipped now after the draw at Manchester City on Saturday.
The Score also seems to be feeling a bit more confident this week ahead of Sunday, and he has drawn in on the Manchester City game in here to explain why he is now starting to believe in this squad.
My next article is on Raheem Sterling, who is one of the most frustrating football players I have ever watched in my life. I mean no disrespect when I say this, and you will see plenty of compliments and positives from me in the article, but here I explain why the summer is the right time for Sterling and the club to part ways.
Luke is wrapping things up for our articles today as always. Axel Disasi has been fantastic in the last few games and deserves all the credit he is getting. Luke is the latest to give praise, and you can check that out in full here.
As usual, the live blog from yesterday is THE best place to find ALL of your Chelsea news from the last 24 hours in the same place. Plenty more cup final build up, quotes, transfer news, and everything else surrounding our club in this one here.
I’ll fire up the live blog as always from around 8am this morning! See you there!
Peace, Si.
If we win on Sunday pundits will say it was because of Liverpool's injuries and because they played terrible never because Chelsea played well
