It will only take one poor result to rain on the parade.

Ideal scenario would be Frank does well and Ancelloti comes back in a sporting director role to guide Lampard as he winds down his career. Paul clement is there also who worked with Carlo at Chelsea , Bayern and Psg

Am so pleased.. It is an interim caretaker job and who better... Those that don't want to play will be overlooked and some of the youngsters will get a fair chance to show what they can contribute. Super Frank welcome home

Really hope it turns out JT will also be joining the staff, the vibes would be immaculate

As long as it's only for 2 months I'm fully on board. Loved Frank as a player, not so much as a manager. Hopefully he can move upstairs in the summer because his talent ID is exceptional

Anyone else feel like the fanbase is being played? Sorry for being negative but I don't understand the excitement, where was this in the big picture long-term vision plan project buzz word process. Just feeling a bit disillusioned, hope I'm proven wrong

It wasn’t in the plan. Enjoy the vibes, it’s well established that it’s temporary while the board figure out what they’re going to do. Club legend in the dugout which will pick up the atmosphere cause it’s been absolute shit and rightly so given what’s been produced on the pitch by the “long term project” of which there were no signs of any progress at all.

Are you currently enjoying the vibes? 12 points of relegation with 8 matches right?

I was until Havertz, Sterling and Felix got on the ball. Worst performance of the season by Cucurella, he out does himself every week. Same players, same results.

We don't learn anything in Chelsea. The bulk of the team were present when frank lampard was there and it collapsed. He lost the dressing room. What makes anyone think they will be onboard with him again? If we fail against Madrid, nobody will listen again and it will become counter productive.

Bulk of that team is gone, especially the ones who fell out with Frank which was Rudi and Alonso. Completely disagree about fresh eyes... Frank should call out those who don’t get it and don’t want to be here and play the “bad guy” role. He’s a club legend, won nearly everything you can win. He’ll have the respect that Potter could never get with this group.

Sylva, azpi, havertz, Mendy, Kepa, Chilly, James, Kante, RLC, Kovacic, Mount, Pulisic, Ziyech ... were all there. Well , hopefully he is a better coach than then and is better in man management. I just need a good result vs madrid because i think we can. Hopeful but extremely skeptical.

A fresh and neutral pair of eyes not involved in this dressing room in the past would have been ideal. The only positives for me is mudryk, madueke, fofana and Carney. Especially mudryk because he submitted a bid for him in the summer for Everton. I think they would have a better chance. But you never know.
