Good Evening, Ladies and Gents,
Welcome back to the 23/24 season loan army report. This is a summary of what our loan players have been up to over the last week.
Lets get into it……
Gaga Slonina:
Another couple of 90 minutes in the bag for Gaga over the last week, a 2-0 loss to Oostende in the cup alongside a 1-1 draw away to St.Truiden.
He performed really well against St.Truiden with 4/4 Saves, 81% pass accuracy, 12 recoveries and a massive 51 touches. From reading on Twitter Gaga is something of a fans favoruite in Eupen!
Bashir Humphreys:
One further game since last week’s report for Bash, a 0-0 draw at home to Sunderland.
He was the standout performer for Swansea yet again, gaining a 7.5 match rating. He completed 21/25 passes, had 41 touches, won 100% of his tackles, made 10 clearances, 2 interceptions, 6 recoveries and a massive 14 defensive actions! He also won 3/4 duels.
Zak Sturge:
I mentioned last week that Zak was starting to knock on the door for a start especially after only one start so far this season.
Well he must have knocked the door off of its hinges, in the 2 games since our last report Zak has started both and completed 166/180 minutes! Finally a deserved spell in the side.
Unfortunately Zak did score an own goal for Peterborough on Saturday through no fault of his own. He played a routine pass back to his goalkeeper who seemingly had a hole in his foot as the ball run under it and into the net.
Andrey Santos:
Andrey was an unused sub for Forest at the weekend.
Cesare Casadei:
Casadei’s run in the side continued at the weekend in Leicester’s 1-0 home defeat to Leeds.
He played 66 minutes in a fairly quiet performance from himself.
Tino Anjorin:
Unfortunately Tino was subbed off injured for Portsmouth in the first half of their game on Saturday, no further news just yet.
Omari Hutchinson:
Omari has had two games since our last report, he came off the bench for 22 minutes v Fulham in the Carabao Cup last week, a game that I was in attendance for.
It was very much a reserve Ipswich lineup with their Starting XI being saved for the weekend.
Omari then started and played 90 minutes v Birmingham on Saturday in which he was involved with both goals albeit not directly, another really solid performance and a few people I know who were at the game were impressed with his continuous development and high level performances.
Harvey Vale:
Harvey was kept to a sub role in a pretty routine win against Whitby town at the weeknd, a team that are 4/5 divisions below Bristol Rovers, seemingly a reserve Rovers XI.
He did however come off the bench to score, the game ended 7-2.
Minute 1.55 of this video is Harvey’s goal.

Charlie Webster:
Another small cameo for Charlie this week, just 8 minutes in a tough fixture against Ajax away from home, who are under interim management and starting to fight up the league.
Diego Moreira:
Diego was not in the squad for Lyon’s 1-1 draw with Metz.
Mason Burstow:
Mason was an unused sub for Sunderland again, away to Bahir Humphreys Swansea.
David Datro Fofana:
After his temporary suspension, DDF returned to the fold and started, played the full 90 minutes in a 3-0 loss to Frankfurt at the weekend.
Chelsea Loan Army on X shared a few clips of DDF performance, see below.

Angelo Gabriel:
Another start for Angelo, in another Strasbourg draw, a 0-0 this week which is slightly unlucky for Angelo who on another day could have walked away with multiple goal involvements.
He played 68 minutes, completed 14/21 passes, created 2 chances, had 44 touches, completed 2/3 crosses and made 9 defensive actions. All of which are good numbers for a young winger.
Seems like Strasbourg like their sister club are not very ruthless in front of goal!
Dion Rankine:
Dion hasn’t returned just yet, but it should only be a matter of weeks now!
Thanks for reading.
Luke Rushbrook
Thanks for your update again.
Andrey Santos:
Andrey was an unused sub for Forest at the weekend.
Easily the most frustrating loan spell so far.
