The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 24th July 2023!
Morning all!
It’s been a good weekend for Mauricio Pochettino’s Chelsea with another victory in the bag, making it two wins in two games now to kick off his Blues reign.
Chelsea beat Brighton 4-3 over in Philadelphia in the early hours of Sunday morning, and I have debriefed the game here with my thoughts on each player, and a general review.
Meanwhile, there has been some pretty big transfer reports out over the weekend that I can now address after speaking to sources.
The first one is Chelsea being strongly linked with a move to sign Kylian Mbappe from PSG. Some top sources are now reporting this one, but what are our sources saying on it? Do Chelsea genuinely have a chance to sign Mbappe? Find out here.
The next big story is Chelsea’s interest in Mohammed Kudus of Ajax, which we reported on way back in December last year! It looks like Chelsea could look to action that interest now. But what would that mean for our pursuit of Rayan Cherki of Lyon? Will that still happen? And where are we at with Kudus? I explain all of that and more in a sourced article here. In this article as well, I have uniquely added the Sunday news report on to the end of it, making it a bumper article covering all the Chelsea news from Sunday! So this is where you want to head for the latest on Michael Olise to Chelsea!!
The final sourced story of the day is on that man Moises Caicedo, whether you are sick and tired of hearing about it or not! I know people will be asking, so I checked in on the latest with sources. Is it looking positive or negative? Find out here.
Finally, the last article of the day I’d really like you all to read because it’s about what’s happening this week and the content that is going out. I’m off to a festival later this week, so some things will look a little different. I explain all here.
I’ll be very busy this week getting ready for the festival and doing extra work to cover my absence. But the live blog will be up and running from 8am as usual today, see you there!
Peace, Si.
