Latest! Sourced story on goalkeeper targets, EXCL Ben Jacobs news, Arsenal preview, Leadership to be addressed, Poch latest, and more...
The Chelsea Newsletter: Tuesday 2nd May
Morning all,
It’s a Chelsea Football Club match day, and I know that sentence is going to set off your football anxiety right now, it does mine too!
The Blues make the short trip across London to face title challengers Arsenal in the Premier League for the 8pm kick off tonight. I have a full preview here, although I refused to pick a predicted lineup or final score out of stubbornness really!
If you missed it yesterday, we published the latest Ben Jacobs Chelsea column on our site. Ben covered a lot as usual, with some exclusive transfer news and the latest on Mauricio Pochettino to Chelsea in this one here.
Roundup all the rest of the latest Chelsea news, quotes, and Poch to Chelsea stuff here in yesterday’s live blog. You can also recap Frank Lampard’s pre-match presser for today in this.
A sourced story next. I did strikers yesterday and now it is the turn of goalkeepers. News on targets and the plans between the sticks in this one here. Plus what the future holds for our current crop of keepers.
Finally, I spoke on the leadership problem at our club again in this one here, or at least the lack of leadership and the issues that is causing in a season that has been super miserable for many other reasons as well.
I won’t actually be around tonight to watch the game or do a match report, but I’ll follow up with my reactions tomorrow on the site.
Have a good day!
Peace, Si.

Si, can we get someone to do an in depth on the academy situation, as I believe I said weeks ago its another imploding area, staff unsure looking to leave, good players looking to leave as the knock on effect of all this stupid buying extra long contracts is perceived as blocking routes
