LATEST! Exclusive John Terry quotes! Sources: Injury updates/Clubs complain about sponsorship/Lampard's next move, Chelsea Legends Debrief, News roundups, and more...
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 11th September 2023!
Morning all,
Hope you’ve all had a good weekend and those who attended the legends game on Saturday had an absolute blast!
That is where we will begin today. As I do for every Chelsea game, I did a Debrief article for the legends game and to be honest, it was THE most enjoyable Chelsea game I have watched for a loooooong time! The whole night was truly special and it was a touching tribute to legend Gianluca Vialli. I enjoyed every second of it, and you can read my full thoughts and see all the images from the night here.
This weekend was all about Chelsea legends for me and we got to see one in the flesh on Friday night, a day before he once again graced the Stamford Bridge grass. Myself and my Dad went to watch a live talk with john Terry on Friday night and I couldn’t go there and not get any quotes for you guys here! So I have some exclusive and hugely interesting key quotes from the captain, leader, and legend John Terry, here.
A mixed sourced article for you next and in this here I have injury news on Romeo Lavia and Carney Chukwuemeka, latest on sponsorship and how Premier League clubs have complained, and how Frank Lampard could soon be making his next managerial move 👀 Some big updates in this one.
It’s an international break of course so there is always going to be Chelsea players to keep an eye on. England and Ukraine drew 1-1 on Saturday evening and Mykhailo Mudryk started for the Ukraine. Our guy Luke Rushbrook is a qualified scout so of course we had to get him on Mudryk duty for this one. Luke was invited to a BBQ Sunday so this wasn’t able to be completed yesterday but it will be out soon today!
Finally for this newsletter, rounding up ALL your latest Chelsea news in one place here in the Sunday news bulletin. Enjoy!
Right, I’ll be on the live blog this morning as normal from around 8am as we start our build ups to Chelsea being back in action at the weekend!
Peace, Si.
