Inside the mind of Pochettino: Tackling suspensions, FULLY backing Enzo, Caicedo, and Palmer, Will Armando Broja get a run in the team? Why Chelsea sign young stars, News roundups, and more...
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Thursday 30th November 2023!
Morning all,
Hope you are all having a good week. We will start today with a Podcast announcement!
Seeing as we are about to head into December with the January transfer window looming, I wanted to get our first transfer insider on the show to discuss Chelsea’s plans for January further. So today, joining myself and Jai on the Podcast, is transfer journalist Fraser Fletcher (Gillan)!
Fraser has been on the show before and we even tried to get him on this site for regular updates. Even still, Fraser gets some good info and sometimes it is similar to what I hear, so it will be really interesting to see what he has to say on Chelsea’s plans for a new striker, centre back, any other positions and of course, outgoings! I will be cranking up an article this morning to grab YOUR transfer related questions for Fraser, and the show will be out around 6pm tonight!
Onto the content now. Let’s begin with Will Reyner’s weekly column for us. I am a huge fan of Will’s columns, and this week he has spoken about why Chelsea have been signing top young talents from across the globe and why they continue to look at them. Do check that out in here.
And our other popular regular writer for the site, Luke Rushbrook, has his latest article out. Luke is looking at Armando Broja today and asking why there is always noise around him and when will he get a run in the team? Check that out in full here.
A couple from me now to see things out for today.
The first one here is really based around ridiculous overreactions on many things from ‘fans’ on Twitter/X. This also hones in on the importance of the community we have all built on this site and also, me FULLY backing Cole Palmer, Enzo Fernandez, and Moises Caicedo. Check that here.
My next article is starting to look ahead to Sunday’s game against Brighton. Mauricio Pochettino will have a lot on his mind, but how will he attack the lack of full backs (injuries and suspensions) available for Sunday? I’ve got all that and more in here.
And as always, browse through all your latest Chelsea news from the last 24 hours in one place here. This covers transfer rumours, quotes, reactions, and any other bit of Chelsea related news that has been flying around.
Join me on the live blog from 8am today and remember, look out for the Q&A article for Fraser, that I will be posting on the home page today at about 9am.
Peace, Si.
