Armando Broja.... Why is there always noise around him? When will he get a fair run in the team?
I am a MASSIVE fan of his!
Good Afternoon Ladies and Gents,
Today I want to talk about Armando Broja and why there is continued speculation around his future, even though he signed a 6 year deal around a year ago.
Ever since he returned from his Southampton loan there has been lots of speculation around his future at the club and every time it frustrates me, we have such a special talent on our hands.
He is a homegrown player and would be worth a fair chunk of money but as with Conor Gallagher we need to resist the pure profit and benefit from having him in the starting XI a lot more frequently than he currently is.
Firstly, for me I believe he is already ahead of Nicolas Jackson on ability levels and his all round game, on the face of it you would guess that Jackson has a little more first team experience, BUT actually Armando has played more career games than Jackson already.
IF he can get an extended run in the starting XI I am certain he will show his true ability and nail down the No.9 position.
The big issue I have and something that will always loom over his head, is the FFP and 100% profit Chelsea would make by selling him. BUT for me that would be the biggest mistake we could make.
He has only had that one serious injury, so the ‘injury prone’ label he receives is very unfair and the fact he doesn’t get spoken about more is frustrating. I would argue that Jackson is less of a natural number 9 and would benefit from being taken out of the limelight a little bit. I also believe Broja could form an incredible partnership with Nkunku upon his return.
There is definitely a sense of bias towards this article because of my love for Broja, BUT I believe a lot of the above is true.
Please give me your thoughts?

To be honest would love to see broja start the next few games if he’s fit I think he ticks a lot more boxes for the kind of striker chelsea need right now compared to Jackson
Completely agree! Always rated Broja more than Jackson, not that I don't think Jackson will be a success but Broja just needs that chance and I think Poch is keen to give him that when fit.
