Great Article Luke, not sure if this is realistic but given the current toxic state of the club, its imperative we get behid the team, ive said this before i did not expect much regarding the performance this season. New manager new owners new players new management core so top 8 and a cup final (ideally winning one) however if we hit 7th and 2 cup finals its where i think this team is at the moment - can we be better absolutely Poch and owners need to also get behind the Fans and stop ignoring them, just walk on the pitch applaud the fans - admit some truths and see where we end up, we are in this together, Investors are always in it to make money but they need the team to perform and they need a consistent management struture and board Give it time
Also to add to to This when Klopp joined Liverpool 2015/2016 2 finals 2 defeats then they went to finish 4 for a few seasons, lets give Poch and the owners 18 months and few transfer windows, but Chelsea need to be good commuicators with the fans the owners backed klopp and also supported the comms
If you look at our schedule until end of season (maybe with 1-2 exceptions) we have more than favorable sequence of games and on paper we should win all of them. But in reality we know with the current squad and coach that we should be happy of 60% of winning and hopefully reaching another final.
See I disagree Michael, they have made some awful decisions and have hired some people they shouldn't , but I am adamant about this next point, they are VERY ambitious, they just need to gain some experience into European sport and football obviously. They need to realise that they have made mistakes and rectify them. We could have ended up with a lot of owners that are worse than them.
They haven't started well at all and there is no defending that but with some tweaks, some tough decisions and hiring the right staff their ambitions and intentions will start to come to fruition.
Appreciate your opinions Luke, but I completely disagree. Alex Goldberg who has great sources has done an article saying Clearlake just want us to “compete” they ain’t that fussed about winning as long as they are making money. Hence the youth project. I believe Todd has good intentions. The equity guys don’t. Simple as that and I’m afraid you will be proven wrong
You are very entitled to your own thoughts and opinions Michael and I am not trying to persuade you of mine in any way at all. But did Alex’s article state how long they want us to compete for or just the entirety of their ownership? In my mind their is a slight contradiction there because the best way for the club and ultimately the owners to make money is by the team performing in the pitch, winning trophies, competing in europe, not paying managers out of contracts or taking losses on transfers?
Agree mate nothing wrong with healthy debate and the article was a piece basically saying that during their period of time here, the focus is on making money and that they just want to be in and around it. Not that fussed about winning. He mentioned an American team . Tampa bay something. Money ball. Nearly win but don’t quite get over line

My sentiments exactly Kris, I would take 75%, that would put us in to Europe.
Think ur right about poch walking. Looks like he cba. And I don’t blame him tbh. We have pocketed the worst owners we could’ve had Conned us all
