Absolutely correct..... Agree totally. I was 11 years old when I decided to support Chelsea.... My family supported AC Milan.. No English team. 64 years later still supporting Chelsea but can barely brig myself to watch.... Thank God for the Ladies and the academy

Spot on. The women’s team are still functioning brilliantly because the owners left them alone or didn’t want to tangle with Emma Hayes.

A sadly entertaining read.

I like the point about Oliver Glasner. A shrewd appointment by Palace

My GOD, the entire article is a joke. Wa wa wa wa wa. Yes we aren’t the Chelsea of just 2 years ago but come on. Injuries have been terrible, we have no striker, we spent way too much money on some players who are not fitting into our system (Caicedo #1) and we have video watchers as talent evaluators. But we have a core of players who with smart signings and bringing up some of our best academy prospects will get us back into Europe. We fans need to calm down a little. We’ve already made a good move by signing that set pieces coach and if he’s as good as advertised we can up our wins just from that move. Yeah we need to place a sporting director ASAP so we have a clear vision moving forward. And keep know nothings from going out with bundles of money spending it foolishly. Have a good day

PS: Roman would of scked Poch in the tunnel and the Sporting Directors would have been locked out of Cobham and handed a box

Great article Danny - agree every point!

Agreed on all of the above, I actually think that Poch is the biggest problem. If (& its a massive if) we can keep the squad fit there's a good squad there. The way Poch has us playing after a full season, pre season & no Europe/congested fixtures is an absolute disgrace. There is ZERO build up, ZERO patterns of play, ZERO identity, ZERO tactics dependant on opposition. It honestly feels like he picks a team & says go out and enjoy yourselves. He constantly relies on individual brilliance - absolute shocking manager. He should've gone after Wolves & the fact there's talk of another season is the most petrifying thing about the state of the club now. I can't understand how anyone in & around Chelsea think he's doing a good job.

One thing I’ve noticed is the site has become polarised since I decided to take a back seat ( not because I took a back seat btw I’m not that arrogant) and not post as much there appears little balance so Lee your comments are a ray of sunshine.

Few people realise the issue’s behind where we are as a team and as a club for example last night 1st half Murdryk & Madueke not tracking back to protect the left & right backs we concede 2 goals I would imagine they are told every training session what their responsibilities are and still they ignore it.

2nd half they suddenly start playing as coached and we were on fire.

But for the Referee & VAR we would have won the game and should have. Another 2 goals disallowed how many is that this season?

It’s time people start supporting and stop criticising, although I agree with the bits about the recruitment and Sporting Directors whole heartedly I think the manager has made the best of a bum steer and this team could have faced relegation without him.

We aren’t petulant children although the evidence with regards to some of the comments seems to suggest otherwise. So why not discuss what you would change to recapture the great Chelsea Times we’ve all known

Without playing the blame game.

I do most of my posting now and not just on Chelsea but on a variety of subjects on the Mail & Telegraph websites because to my surprise people on those sites don’t always have an agenda.

A supporter of Chelsea for 55 years I’ve seen good and bad.
