Exploring Kounde, scouting Toney, Christensen comes of age, Gilmour closes on Norwich, CFCNewsPage's Transfer updates!
All packed into our latest Chelsea FC Newsletter
Another week passes by, and a host more exciting Euros matches to keep us all entertained.
England’s turn tonight, and it is Mason Mount, Ben Chilwell, and Reece James Vs Antonio Rudiger, Kai Havertz, and Timo Werner. Which Chelsea boys will come out on top? I’m buzzing for this one!
Denmark have been on fire in their last two matches, thrashing Russia and Wales. Andreas Christensen has been absolutely colossal and turned into a new kind of beast.
He’s impressed me so much that I felt compelled to write up a comment piece on his current form and what he can bring to Chelsea moving forward. You can read that here.
Transfer news has been very thin on the ground these last couple of weeks and I’ve seen a lot of frustration on the Twitter time line.
I will reiterate, a lot of this is kept behind closed doors, so just because you aren’t seeing your Twitter time line filled with exciting Chelsea transfer news, it doesn’t mean that nothing is happening.
I spoke to an Agent who used to work very closely with Chelsea this week, and he told me that when he was working on deals with the club, he was made to sign a form that basically threatened legal action if he revealed anything that was going on.
This is how these things work, Chelsea want to keep things as quiet as possible, unless of course it is within their benefit to leak things. You will get leaks from various avenues, but not always.
We have two months left of the window, and there are some MASSIVE decisions to make, I’d rather we made the right signings than rushing into something that will end up being a mistake.
Anyways, on that subject, here is our new colleague and proven Chelsea insider CFCNewsPage with the latest general transfer update exclusively for us with all the happenings around the club - Peep that here!
I do also have a couple bits of interesting information given to me this week, and one of those is that Chelsea have been scouting Brentford striker, Ivan Toney.
Find out exactly what that means here.
I’ve also been told that Chelsea are exploring the option of signing Jules Kounde from Sevilla, you can read the full story on that here.
Finally, Billy Gilmour is closing in on a loan move to Norwich City, freeing up a space in Chelsea’s squad. How will they replace Gilmour? Find out here.
Thanks for reading guys, we’ll be back this week with another Podcast, and any more information we get will be posted up here. Subscribe now, all content is FREE!

Toney would be a good signing, no doubt. But he wouldn't take us to the next level (if there is any level to achieve having already won the UCL). Would be a great backup though with Broja as the third.
