Very thorough & complete analysis. As depressing as it is, thank you.

Really enjoyed the breakdown is was great! My issue with Poch is he really isn’t extracting close to the potential this squad has even with its limitations. The way he sets us up with the Gallagher Enzo issue the gaps between the midfield in build up means there isn’t many combinations and means there is massive gaps between defence midfield and attack when we defend. He is playing a style of football which does suit our players and seems to show 0 sign of reverting back to preseason style and any sign of flexibility

i would say lets wait to see how he sets up when carney and nkunku come back , why them specifically, because they both operate in the Left half space in between the left winger and striker, and when they were available in preseason and earluy in the season, we could see their impact

Really good analysis Mobo on exactly what our problems are. Individual errors in there for sure but some of these issues surely just need simple coaching - e.g. Colwill not closing down. Over to you Poch....

Thank you jonathan, there is a lot of coaching work that needs to be done, its more annoying when weve seen a sneak peak into what we can be and Poch doesnt stay consistent with some principles

The bottom line is.

Colwill is not shutting down players quickly enough. It's now cost us 3 goals. Spurs, Brighton and now Everton.

2nd goal.

Simple have a man on the edge of the box, when defending corners.

This stops a free hit at our goal.

Over to you Poch!!... Once again inept coaching & tactical play

Colwill needs to work on that, its costing us a lot and our setpieces are one of our weak points and its not only about tall players

Exactly!... So what exactly is Poch doing at Cobham during training.

No midweek games and nearly a full 7 days to prepare for each game as well.

I can't imagine for a moment that these players aren't being trained on how to cover the bases and where to be et cetera.

However at times they revert to playing like an under 19 team or worse.

If I had one piece of advice for Poche who i still think is the best option the club has at this point in time.

Play all your players where they should be (i.e. best position) and don't change the layout or positions as these players seemingly cant cope with change!

It doesn't matter if teams know exactly what we will pout out on the field and what style we will play in as every time we try to be clever and tactically try and outthink the opposition we outthink ourselves.

Round pegs in square holes Andy, and Poch has been doing it since the first game.

That's where we have had no set style or pattern of play.

Now the dust is settling after Sunday, I think we seem to be able to mix it with anyone who'll let us play, City, Liverpool ETC..

The games we have lost are the teams that mix it up and get amongst us. Bullying us all over the pitch. Everton, Utd, Forest etc..

We don't seem to be able to mix it with them or beat those teams.

I think that's a mix of Poch & weak physical players we have signed.

Sheffield Utd at the weekend, will make it as painful as they can.

I can't even call it at the moment.
