Luke whilst your giving others praise perhaps you should reserve some for yourself as Craige says you’ve nailed about every major event in the last 6 months.
I’ve always felt the need to defend Sterling but his going was a relief and when we signed Sancho on loan with an obligation to buy that was a masterpiece of work especially that now Man Utd fans have been reminded of what he can do they want him back… well they can go take a running jump he now is ours.
We must never forget the Tortuous road the team rebuilding has taken and we have got here on the shoulders of those that went before, however once we get the ace Goalkeeper we need and strengthen the defence will some one please take away the company cheque book from the sporting directors (Dumb & Dumber).
Another excellent review, Luke. I think you hit the nail on the head. Enzo has been first class in his first six months at Chelsea and he’s starting to build a bond with a supporters as well. He seems to have a very levelheaded manner that in turn creates a good atmosphere around the squad and the club as a whole.
I would add to additional positives. The way he has recently managed Noni has been excellent. A lot of us have felt that Noni has shown arrogance and has not performed as well as others would think there in your mind he has made the England squad (perhaps on the back of one game). Secondly, his game adjustments have been refreshing and definitely have had impacts on our matches
