I think it's a bit of a double-edged sword, though. On one hand, it's nice that he did an interview and outlined his thoughts. But now he has to go out and deliver on the promises that he's just made. If he fails to do so, he'll probably get absolutely hammered by the fans and the media down the road for all of this.
Sometimes in the world of business, it's actually better to keep your thoughts and plans out of the public because if there's one giant no-no in that world, it's promising to deliver something in a time-frame and then failing to actually do so. That can do far more damage to a club/company reputation than staying silent on the matter and waiting to make a statement when the product you're planning to deliver is ready.
Truth is we know what the 20230 vision is and what are doing - multi club model, focus on younger players, pay extra for certain key players, build out world class scouting operation to bolster younger player strategy, lower salaries for players tied to incentive plans, peak as Liverpool/Man City rebuild and bolstering next year squad with striker, LB, CB next year to finally make CL - what we don’t know is if this strategy will work? - so it would be nice to hear at least from SD or MD - to give us confidence- that they have confidence - but their approach is quite evident - the real issue is results of this contrarian strategy have not worked yet - in a club where history and fan culture expectation is win now. It makes for a very bumpy rebuild from scratch. I also don’t think they would get a fair shake in the British Press (does anyone?) - too much click potential for articles about brash American owners to give it a balanced view - which is why I love this community!

Most of 1bn wasted, FFO noose tightening, lowest league finish & points in quite a while, overpaying for players, no closer to CL after 2 years etc etc
