The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Wednesday 15th November 2023!
Morning all,
The transfer news is starting to bubble up now and reports are suggesting that Chelsea will make a final decision on whether they will push to sign a new striker in January or not, in mid-December. As I exclusively reported on here on Sunday, Victor Osimhen IS open to a Chelsea move, and that has now been confirmed by other outlets. On this as well, I have a BIG sourced/exclusive article with new updates on both Osimhen and Toney out at 1pm today!!
To get the latest on that and much more, head to yesterday’s live blog here covering all your latest Chelsea news from across the last 24 hours.
We have much more to talk about of course than just transfer news, and it has been Cole Palmer who has been stealing the headlines all week. The attacker has just been called up into his first senior England squad, just a day after he scored an important equaliser against his former club Manchester City. His impact has been huge and his quality is undoubted, but the media will media, and therefore I think it’s important to stay grounded. Words on that here.
We discussed on here this week in the comments section of the blog, just how Chelsea will lineup when everyone is fit? Or at least as close to that scenario as possible. With Christopher Nkunku and Romeo Lavia now closing on full training returns, where do they fit in? Who do we drop? Who keeps their places? Who has become un-droppable? I give my opinion on all of that in here as well as selecting two scenarios of my best Xl when everyone is fit, and when/if we sign a new striker.
And in the next article here, I have asked YOU guys to partake in the same impossible task as me and pick your best Xl when everyone is fit. In this as well, I’ve asked you to pick the striker you want to see Chelsea sign.
Finally, Luke is on hand for his latest loan army roundup article covering the latest news on how the likes of David Datro Fofana, Omari Hutchinson, Andrey Santos, Harvey Vale, Bashir Humphreys, Cesare Casadei and more are getting on. You can read all about that here.
I’ll see you all on the live blog this morning from around 8am.
Peace, Si.
