Great breakdown! I actually liked Sterling in the 10 much more than i thought i would, closet thing we have had to Carney in there since his injury. Will be interesting if Poch continues that moving forward.
The second half was a dramatic improvement from the first where we were slow and created nothing. My only gripe with the second half he was played very well for 5/10 mins and then went back to control and boring would of been nice to see them go for the kill and try score 4/5
yeah i really wanted that too. but i also liked the fact that we still made the game boring, it in a little way screams, "game management potential" but i think we need to strike the balance well, we had chances to score still and could have ended up with 4 goals, we missed 5 big chances, all in the 2nd half
Another great breakdown Seun - thanks. Your words dovetailed brilliantly with the video clips and illustrated well exactly the points you were making. Well done!
I really hope because it seems Poch has gone back for more solidity in the pivot and has put Gallagher beside Caicedo in the last 2 games. it seems the Manutd game scarred him. but if Nkunku is fit, we need his profile there more than Enzo who we need in deeper positions to affect the game appropriately
I second , third , fourth & fifth the comments about the articles and how much they add.
