Chelsea Newsletter: Monday 12th Dec
Covering: Sourced stories on Romeo Lavia contact, Yann Sommer interest, and David Raya, Plus Pulisic to Newcastle, Bring me Thomas Tuchel, And Chelsea back in action!
Good Morning!
We’re cracking on through the festive season here and Chelsea are very soon back in Premier League action!
Until then though, we did have a Chelsea friendly match to keep us entertained, and it was Chelsea vs Aston Villa. A strong Villa first team lined up against a mostly inexperienced Chelsea team full of academy players, and The Blues only lost 1-0. The whole game was tarred by what looks like a serious injury to Armando Broja, more on that when we get it.
I unfortunately didn’t get to watch it, but I’ll be watching it back in full this morning, so look out for a match review up on the site later today.
I’ve swept up all the latest Chelsea news in general from Sunday here, so take a look through that first. Includes rumours about Chelsea’s fresh interest in midfielder Sander Berge, and much more.
England crashed out of the World Cup on Saturday night after defeat to France. The Three Lions deserved to win the game, but the result at the end of the day, is all that matters. I’ve explained here why I believe it is time for Gareth Southgate and England to part ways, and for super Tommy Tuchel to replace him.
Let’s rate a transfer rumour next, and it’s one that has got everyone talking. It’s Newcastle’s interest in signing Christian Pulisic from us this January. Will it happen? What is our verdict? Find out here.
Two big sourced articles to finish your Monday with now.
First of all, some info on Chelsea making fresh contact to sign Romeo Lavia in January, get the full story on that here.
Then, a big one on goalkeepers that we sent out to you all yesterday, but in case you missed it, you really need to check it out here. Both Yann Sommer and David Raya stories in this.
That’ll do nicely for now. More stories coming up later today, and the live blog will be up from around 8am today and every day until the end of Thursday this week!
Have a goodun’
Peace, Si.
