well written and passionate article. I don't get to the Bridge very often, but remember my first game when Peter Osgood came off the bench and my Dad (now 87) remembers going to a game and seeing Ron 'Chopper' Harris on the Tube, also travelling to the game (to play!). Our Club with a great history and and rarely a dull moment! Let others moan, we'll just come back stronger!!

Excellent article so true seems like there is so much baseless envy and hate towards the club from a certain section of the media and you're absolutely right to call it out. The best way to shut them down is on the pitch by getting back to winning ways. COYB!

Excellent article - agree 100%. Much of the media are a shit-shower. Although Chelsea have enjoyed bags of success since Roman acquired the club, success before then was sporadic. Most sports journalists are football supporters too - and the majority of them will support the big clubs like Liverpool, Arsenal, Spurs and Man U. Chelsea's success has not gone down well with them and they are looking for payback. And yes the press don't like Americans in football and they ARE xenophobic, so that adds a little bit extra!

As for the opinions of fans of other clubs, I don't give a damn. Be honest, if Spuds had shelled out the thick end of £600 million and finished a dismal 12th, we would be giving them banter like nothing else. So I am relaxed on that one.

Excellent article! Most of the journalists is English media are shameless and biased. What does it tell when they are worried about us even after our worst season in recent history? That we are back. Let them cry.
