The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 5th February 2024!
Morning all,
I hope you all had a good weekend despite Chelsea existing!
The Blues were in Premier League action yesterday afternoon at home to Wolves. It was another disaster-class from Chelsea and caused the biggest toxic reaction from the fanbase for some time. Fans have had enough and have finally lost patience. Time for the club to take some responsibility. I have my full debrief review article here where I have looked at the game on the whole, and rated the manager and the players individually. Also a chance in there to vote on whether you want Mauricio Pochettino sacked or not.
I also had an exclusive article out yesterday on the injury to Wesley Fofana and what is happening there. Very much worth checking this one out for some key information here.
This next article is absolutely superb and has drawn a lot of interest, comments, and praise from Chelsea fans. It’s written by Danny Windsor, a Chelsea fan from our own community here. He’s supported the club for 25 years and has had a season ticket for 15 of those years. Danny has passionately written a deep dive article on the current situation and what he believes are our issues right now. I can guarantee that many of you will fully agree with all he has written in this here. I just hope the right people see and read it, because it needs to be seen and heard.
Part of what Danny touched upon in his article is the fact that Mauricio Pochettino has not been backed in what he has requested in terms of transfers. And also, how there has been a lack of squad building. I guess my article here is leading on from Danny’s article with a focus on previous comments that Pochettino has made literally asking for height, a new striker, and proven PL players. Some more on the Armando Broja situation in there as well.
I have more reactions from the Wolves game next in Sunday’s Chelsea News Bulletin which can be found in full here. This covers Pochettino’s post-match press conference as well as all the rest of the reactions and stats from the game.
Right, please do join me on the live blog this morning from 8am, where I will welcome your comments and views on the game yesterday, as well as many other situations :)
Peace, Si.
