EXCL: Wesley Fofana's injury and return

Some key updates on the centre-back's progress

Chelsea defender Wesley Fofana has not kicked a ball all season after being sidelined since undergoing anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction surgery in July after a serious knee injury sustained before the pre-season tour of the United States.

In November we started to see some images of him back in the gym and even with his boots back on.

Last week there was some rumours that his injury was still very bad and it would be a long time still until he comes back.
