Good Afternoon ladies and gents,
I just wanted to hone in on the rumours around Wilson and his stats over the last 18 months.
His injuries are obviously a worry, but even with those injuries this is a low risk signing for me, IF we pull it off.
The Stats:
Since the start of the 22/23 season Callum has played 45 PL games, scoring 25 goals and making 6 assists and playing 2,608 minutes which is equivalent to 29 full 90 minute matches.
He averages a goal involvement every 84 minutes over this period of time, which is excellent and something we massively miss.
The following stats are compared to all strikers in the top 5 European leagues + UCL & UEL over the last 365 days
His shooting and goal stats are excellent and many of which rank in at least the top 10% if not higher across the top 5 European leagues + UCL & UEL.
He is very much a goal scoring striker, not afraid to shoot and incredibly composed in front of goal.
The BIG issues are his injuries, in the 22/23 season he missed 9 games for club and country through injury. This season he has missed 15 games through injury, which in one way makes his stats even more impressive, the amount of goals/assists he has been involved in.
The good news is, his hamstring injury which saw him miss 11 games this season has fully healed and having not played since boxing day with a calf problem it has given his hamstring that additional recovery time. His hamstrings have always been his “Achilles heel” and caused the most problems.
Thanks for reading and please give me your thoughts on Wilson in the comments!

Out of say Duran or Wilson I take Wilson
Yes, if it's worth it buying him and use him as a rotational striker that should avoid injury proneness. At the same time we could just manage his minutes to make success where or when need to.
