A great analysis Dylan.

Really enjoyed reading it.

I too like the tactical side of the game as well..

That's why I'm shedding no tears over Poch leaving!

It's Sesko for me all day long, we desperately need a player with his profile up top.

As Alvarez,? for me it's a non-starter.

He has 4 years left on his contract and City dont want to sell either.

Can't see it happening myself.

Let's hope Sesko chooses us over Arsenal & Utd!

thanks very much! I think Sesko could get a lot of action inside the box with our wide players making runs.

Excellent analysis of Benjamin Šeško and Julián Álvarez, Dylan. My first choice would be Šeško!!

Excellent article really enjoyed reading it I am a bit of a novice re tactics data etc and it is really interesting to read your analysis I think Sesko sounds like he would be best fit for the squad and manager but Alvarez has prem league experience and obviously knows some of the squad but I am going for Sesko .

Great article Dylan, fully agree with you about Sesko's high ceiling and also think he complements Jackson's profile better than Alvarez would.

Thanks Jordinho! Hope we can get him, seems like this news might be coming out this week before the Euro's begin.

Well everyone thanks for reading there has been excellent feedback on here on the article and I can't thank you enough. Sad that Sesko has decided to stay at RB Leipzig for another year, but maybe this article can be repurposed for next summer if we go down that path? I like Julian Alvarez, but things aren't as hot on him. I am sort of wondering if there are 3 paths left for us at this point. Jackson/Nkunku main ST's, Jhon Duran from Aston Villa, or maybe just maybe if there are no suitors for Osimhen both him and Napoli drop their prices a bit to make a move happen..

Great read Dylan.

Alvarez was my preferred choice of the two, but after reading this I'm not so sure anymore.

It's the fact that Alvarez is prem proven that had me sold on him. I think he is an elite striker and if it wasn't for Haaland, would be hitting much better numbers.

But sounds like Sesko compliments our current forwards more and also fits Maresca's system a bit better. So it's a tough one.

I would take either one at this stage and I just hope you don't end up doing a Jhon Duran v Evan Ferguson tactical deep dive next week lol

Great read…. The benefit of reading this article today is that we now know Sesko is going nowhere and I think City will be reluctant sellers unless Alvarez pushes for a move. So Dylan if both where not attainable, whom would you say would be next best choice for us??? Great to have you on board as your article was superb👍👍

Interesting article.

Of the 2 … Sesko & Alvarez the chances of getting either may be slim given the interest but for me Sesko.

I would have preferred to see Alvarez compared to Jackson rather than Vardy and also Sesko & Alvarez compared together to highlight the differences.

The comparison with Sesko & Jackson led me to believe that they would complement each other were Jackson to be playing left wing and Sesko in the middle upfront it certainly would be a good attack.

I’m glad others fought there way through the article as there was enough there for 2 articles +.

Thanks and welcome.

Welcome, Dylan! Really enjoyed this article - your analysis is brilliant. Looking forward to your next one.

Personally, I'd go for Alvarez. Proven in the Premier league, technical ability, scores goals, and will have an understanding already with palmer and Enzo.

Thanks Alex, hopefully to have something out shortly next week. Alvarez wouldn't be a bad choice either, one reason I like him is his ability to step back in a false 9 and be creative for runners like Palmer and Nkunku.

Agree. And if you look at the average position of the Leicester striker under maresca last season, he was dropping quite deep

Thanks Vivek I really appreciate the feedback. I think Sesko would be a great fit, nothing against Alvarez because he could be good too. Hopefully we get it across the line soon, it sounds like it will be announced before the Euros.
