Great interview. Great Chilwell.

Great interview. Ideally chilwell shouldnt be the starting left back at Chelsea this season let alone the captain. His loyalty will be rewarded at the expense of lewis hall and we will all pretend like he is good enough especially for poch's system that seems to be less reliant on wingbacks.

I am currently sat wearing my Chilwell England shirt from the euros. Gutted he didn’t play a minute of that tournament.

But big fan of him. Probably my favourite Chelsea player at the moment.

Seems like a great guy but personally wouldn’t want him as captain

Have to be honest and say I’d rather see someone else either maatsen or hall start as a lb ( more maatsen) meaning that chilly will be a backup and id just rather have the captain being a starter. Although saying that poch seems to like him so there is a big chance he starts

Really? Chillwell is levels above both of them

as receivers of the ball, mudryk and chilwell occupy the same position. It will take a lot of work to get them function efficiently together.

Chilwell is not. The stats say it is lewis hall( I can expatiate if necessary). Stylistically so far, poch uses his LB and RB to build up play, chilwell is mainly a 3rd phase receiver that likes to use his pace and has good attacking output. Hence poch's use of cucurella who isn't good enough, but can build up play and invert well. ideally chilwell and matsen as the LW work the best. Mudryk and cucu/hall/matsen will work the best not chilwell.

Are you the same person that tried to tell me Tammy Abraham is better than Ivan Toney?
