The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday June 17th 2024!
Morning all,
I hope you all enjoyed the first weekend of the Euros. I think there was some incredible games and they were very entertaining with goals aplenty. Let’s hope it continues that way. There’s been some Chelsea involvement already, and there is much more to come.
Things went a little quiet on the Michael Olise and Jhon Duran situations over the weekend, and I have the latest on that and all the rest of the Chelsea transfer rumours as well as my sourced updates in here to kick things off today.
Sticking with Duran, you guys simply must check out our new analyst Dylan’s latest article on him in here. I think this is a very fair and balanced look at Duran, highlighting his strengths as well as weaknesses. Bottom line is that Dylan, like most of us, thinks it would be silly and a big risk to spend £40m on Duran this window. Chelsea were linked with Serhou Guirassy of Stuttgart over the weekend, as in the first article today, and that for me is a MUCH lower risk and we should be all over it.
And now we have three sources articles from SPTC sources to finish things up for today.
The first one is on some interest coming from Italy and Saudi for one Blues centre back this window, and Chelsea are now bracing themselves for offers. But will they accept? Find out in here.
So what about the futures of two midfielders, Conor Gallagher and Andrey Santos next? Well, they could be linked together. I have updates on Gallagher in here with a slightly softer stance emerging from the club.
And then on Santos, the intentions is for him to stay, but nothing is yet set in stone, and you can read the full story on him in here.
Hoping for some more news on the transfer situations coming in today, so do make sure to join me on the live blog from around 8.30am, as this is where I’ll always put my latest updates out as soon as I get them!
Peace, Si.
Guéhi, played well could see him in Chelsea shirt, oh I think I did see him in a Chelsea shirt!
