The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Friday 6th September 2024!
Morning all,
Welcome to the weekend!
We’ve got a weekend of international games now of course, with plenty of Chelsea players in action. But no domestic football other than the lower leagues.
Bit boring, yes. But Chelsea will soon be back and let’s just hope for an injury-free round of international matches!
To the content now. Start off with the live blog from yesterday that covers all your latest Chelsea news from the last 24 hours in one place here. All transfer news, interviews, and general news covered in this.
Myself and Jai predicted our full PL league positions for the end of the season in our latest Podcast which can be found in here. We also speak about all the latest topics and dive back into the summer transfer window just gone.
Cole Palmer has been nominated for the 2024 Ballon d’Or, which is an incredible achievement in itself. I run out of words to praise this man and I’m definitely running out of flowers to hand to him. But I’ve managed to find some more of both in here as we look at the year he has had as a Chelsea player and the incredible stats and achievements he has notched up.
Some more praise due this week as well, and I have aimed that in the direction of Noni Madueke, who is a good friend of Palmer. He has started this season on fire, and his latest words in an interview this week pleased me a lot and is exactly what we need to be hearing from our players. Check that out in full in here.
Big one next and it’s an interactive one. Earlier this week I wrote about how our star-studded attack is now full of quality and looking scarily good. But how do you pick a starting Xl of them and who do you leave out? A chance for you all to pick YOUR best attacking lineup in here. I’ve also picked mine!
Finally, Luke is in the house. It’s time for the latest and eargely awaited loan army report! You can check that out in full in here.
I’ll be back on the site on Sunday and in case of anything big going off until then, I’ll jump on the Substack app chat section!
Have a good weekend all and maybe go watch some local football to get your fix!
Peace, Si.
