The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 26th May 2025!
Morning all,
And what a morning it is. That Champions League theme tune and UCL nights back next season, what a great feeling that is. Goal reached for the club this season, and plenty deserve their plaudits and flowers for that. I will be dishing out the praise all week because yes, we absolutely should be celebrated this achievement and it is a big achievement. If we can add silverware to that later this week as well, amazing!
You can get my full thoughts on the Forest game as well as the player and manager ratings here.
Before the game, it was all about the inside transfer info from our own sources - we put out THREE sourced/exclusive transfer news update articles!
The first one was on new strikers, with fresh info out on Benjamin Sesko and Victor Osimhen, as well as some bits on Liam Delap and Hugo Ekitike - oh, and some bonus info on Mike Maignan as well just throwing a bit in there on goalkeepers! You can check that in full here.
The exclusive we had out was a bit more of an off the mainstream stories and some really good bits of info via our sources really with some interesting detail in it as well. It’s all centred around Leicester City defender Ben Nelson. Chelsea are certainly looking at him, and you can read all about that here.
Moving back to attackers now as we jump around a bit in this newsletter, and Chelsea have big plans to to a little bit of reforming of the attacking department this summer, with wingers, attacking midfielders and of course, a new 9 all being looked at. Further inside info on Eberechi Eze, Morgan Rogers, and much more here.
I had the Blues News report out as well after the game with the reactions from Enzo Maresca and everyone else as well as any news that came out before the game. You can grab that here.
Well folks, that marks the end of the league season at least, and it’s been a hell of a ride! We have one game left now and the hope for some silverware this Wednesday night against Real Betis in the Conference League final.
See you all on the next live blog from around 8.30am today for all your reactions to the game and the rest of the day’s news as it comes in.
Peace, Si.
