The (dreaded) Int'l Break

It's like Marmite, some love it, some hate it

Afternoon Ladies and Gents

This little break comes around 4 times per season and I know others like it more than most, I am one that actually enjoys it and am an avid England fan.

But, sometimes we just dread it coming around, especially when we look like we are hitting a decent bit of form. The most important things for me during the Int’l break are our players going away staying fit, but also getting good minutes to continue form. The players staying at Cobham keeping up a good intensity whilst also taking ample time to recover physically and mentally and then least/most (depending how you view it) important all together is England picking up as many wins and victories as possible!

What are your thoughts on the Int’l break and do you follow your national team?

I absolutely love international tournaments and if I am quite honest it is my favourite kind of Football, which is why it is so important to me that England do well and also qualify! I am actually heading to Wembley tomorrow night for our friendly against Australia and hoping to see our Chelsea boys in action.

If I do I will be writing a report on that come Monday.

It is also important to me to watch and follow our Under 21’s who play this evening (Thursday) at 7.45pm v Serbia, I will be tuning into that and may write a few words on Bashir Humphreys, Noni Madueke and Cole Palmer.

As always I will be writing up a report on a selected international player (or two) during the international break, there is a poll in Thursday’s (today) live blog which I will need you ALL to vote on to decide who I report on next week.

I will be assisting Si with some more content going forward and ideas or things you guys would like to see is my main aim, so drop me a comment below and let me know.
