Spurs Review, Kante's reactions, Leroy Sane, Agent talks, EFL Cup Preview...
All covered in my latest Chelsea FC Newsletter!
I’m back! And to be honest it feels like I’ve never even been gone!
We had a fantastic week in West Sussex for those interested, I actually fell in love with Brighton, what a place. If you haven’t been, highly recommend it.
I was genuinely on my minimoon (honeymoon) watching Chelsea beat Aston Villa in a bar on the Pier with my good lady by my side! I know right, very romantic for her!
She doesn’t like Football, but I’m bringing her to her first game at Stamford Bridge for the Southampton match, and I reckon I’ve got a good chance of converting her!
Anyways, it was great, but back to the grind now and here is my latest newsletter. I say ‘grind’ but I still don’t and never will see writing and reporting on my beloved Chelsea FC as a job.. I love it!
Hope you all managed to check out the Podcast last week in my absence? Dan managed to draft in a pretty big guest in the shape of Joe Tweedie who is always full of great insights and inside information from in and around the club. Our friend Jai Mcintosh also joined them. It was a fantastic episode and if you missed it, you can catch it here.
I’ll be back on the Pod this week, and we’ll have a lot to talk about, starting with our thrashing of Tottenham in their own back yard on Sunday afternoon.
As I like to do with games, I typed up my ‘5 Things I Noticed’, so you can check that out here with my collective thoughts on the game.
The games are coming in thick and fast now, and our League Cup game against Aston Villa this Wednesday night will give us a chance to rest some key player and also give minutes to some of the fringe guys.
You can check out my predicted line up for that here and which players I believe could get a chance to shine this week.
I know you all love a bit of transfer talk even though we are not in the transfer season…. But what about Leroy Sane to Chelsea? Anyone fancy that?
Well, I’ve checked in about these links and you can read my news on that here.
More transfer news for you here as well, surrounding both Aurelien Tchouameni from Monaco, and Jules Kounde of Sevilla.
Finally, we’ll end on N’Golo Kante, who was the absolute hero and game-changer in the Spurs win on Sunday, and he also scored a goal.
We are running out of words to describe Kante, but luckily he has been speaking himself. You can read his reaction to Sunday, his goal, and even an injury update he has provided on his own fitness here.
Thanks for stopping by guys and as always, thanks for subscribing to the site, and for all your support, it’s genuinely appreciated!
