The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Monday 9th October 2023!
GOOD MORNING CHELSEA FANS!!!
Yes, that intro is a sign of my mood this morning! Chelsea have now won three matches in a row and they even thrashed a team over the weekend. Whether you hate your job or not and are heading in to work this morning, it will always feel just that little bit better when Chelsea are winning matches and playing well, and right now, we are doing both!
Chelsea beat Burnley 4-1 away from home on Saturday afternoon and I have my full match analysis, report, and rating each player in my debrief article here. Once again, it was an enjoyable report to write.
Raheem Sterling was the star of the show on Saturday and he dropped the type of performance that we grew used to seeing from a certain Eden Hazard on a weekly basis. Like most of you, I have found Sterling frustrating at times since he joined from Manchester City, but right now, after that superb showing on Saturday and better form this season, he absolutely deserves his flowers and I have handed them to him here.
You can get a bunch more match reactions, quotes etc in Sunday’s Chelsea News Bulletin here which covers all your latest Blues news including any transfer rumours.
And a couple of sourced articles to finish things off.
I’m going to build this article up very little, but I have a sourced article on former Chelsea player Jamal Musiala here that you might find of interest.
And although we are now moving in to yet another mundane international break even though we only recently had one, the positive side of this is that we should be seeing more injured players back in our squad when we return to action. I have sourced updates on all our injured players and when to expect them back here.
Anyways, enjoy your Monday’s and I’ll be on the live blog from 8am as usual this morning if you care to join me :)
Peace, Si.
