Sources: When Cole Palmer first felt his injury & the details, Fancast label Chelsea 'gutless', Matt Law calls them 'boring, boring', & I'll take you all seriously when you drop/sell Robert Sanchez...
The Chelsea FC Newsletter: Tuesday 18th March 2025!
Morning all,
More reactions have been coming in from the Arsenal game as we head into another international break.
For once, and even though the squad selection was a bit annoying and weird, I am buzzing for an international break! As an England fan I am excited to be going forward now with Tommy Tuchel! So for that reason, I am actually pleased to see an international break for once! Some time too for Chelsea to recover and some of our injured players to get closer to a return.
Matt Law and The Chelsea Fancast both highlighted our injuries in their reviews of the Arsenal game, and rightfully so. Of course they are an issue and an element to our poor attacking record recently. But injuries do not effect a style of play and are not THE excuse. First of all, get Law’s review of ‘boring, boring Chelsea’ here. Some concerning attacking stats in this one.
And the Fancast, as always, use a spot of passionate language in their review this week. But I do always find their reviews very entertaining at least. And they also make some good points even if I don’t always agree with everything they say. Words and video in here.
So, what’s going on with Cole Palmer and why did he miss the Arsenal game? Some incorrect reporting has been out on this, so I cleared it all up and explained what happened with Palmer’s injury here in a sourced article.
My message to Maresca, the owners, and anyone else who continues to back/pick Robert Sanchez is that if you want us to back you and take you seriously, then sell/stop picking Sanchez, and then we can talk. Sigh. Words on that one here.
As always, all your latest general Chelsea news can be found in the same place covering the last 24 hours here.
Thanks for stopping by. See you on the next live blog from around 8.30am today.
Peace, Si.
Just saw Petrovic got his 5th clean sheet in a row at Strasbourg which hasn't happened for over 40 years. Might not be the PL but surely better than a bloke with the most errors leading to chances in the league. Should be another nail in the coffin of SDs...
