Sources: What to expect this summer after Liam Rosenior and the media build up to some 'changes' in recruitment
More focus on 'established' players?
Liam Rosenior said last week:
"When you have a process, you have to adjust your process to get to where you want to be. You’ll see. You’ll see in the actions we take rather than the words I speak."
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano also reported:
“Chelsea are now open to adding more players with immediate impact, this will be in addition to young talents. These targets will be players who maybe you don’t have to wait 6 months to see an impact, they’d be coming in and straight away making impact.
“The message from the club is clear: ‘We want to go for trophies’, you’ll see young talents plus experienced players this summer.’”
Well, it’s safe to say that Chelsea fans are very sceptical after hearing all of this. It will very much be a case of the proof is in the pudding. Also, what some fans see as ‘experienced’ will be very different to what the club see as ‘experienced’.
