Chelsea remain busy in the summer transfer market and as I said on here last week, the club have tried to keep some things under wraps.
That is never always possible though because for numerous reasons agents and clubs will like to put stuff out there sometimes to help in negotiations, but that is when things become a saga. Chelsea looked to have pulled from any interest in Riccardo Calafiori, and that one would have certainly become a saga. Chelsea haven’t advanced or moved on Calafiori, but they were considering it last week. It looks like Renato Veiga coming in, could now end that interest for now. But never say never at this point.
Chelsea’s left back situation is a big one to sort out, with both Ben Chilwell and Marc Cucurella up for sale at the right price (key point that). They are very unlikely to sell both, and I have more on that in the Veiga article also out this morning.
