Sources: Striker situation - My take

Half sourced and half opinion on the striker situation and how I think it will pan out

I have some sourced updates on strikers to deliver, and some interesting info on Victor Osimhen. Also some bits on Benjamin Sesko, and of course, Ivan Toney.

I will reveal all that info below, but first I wanted to put out my take on what I think is happening right now and how I think it will pan out. This is my opinion, but it is also based on what I’ve been hearing, gut instinct, and just my general view.

So, I’ve always been told Chelsea want a striker in January, and that is still how I understand it. But they will not just buy any striker and they will not panic buy, so it has to be the right profile and there has to be an opportunity. So that means that it’s not a sure thing that we sign a striker in January even if that is the desire. If the right profile is not available or gettable, then they will just have to wait until the summer and try again. They DO want a striker in 2024, ideally in January.
